One of our bulls looking towards some cows he heard call from way off in the distance. He was near a fence calling back since none of the ones with him were standing at the moment. He has always been a good boy, easy to work with and takes his job serious. His calves will almost all arrive in the first 3 weeks. He is a Cedar Ridge son out of one of my favorite Really Windy daughters. I AI selected cows to carefully chosen bulls to make replacements and to bring in new blood. Sometimes I will also keep a bull for my own use.

Did you get to go to the desert? Seems that picked up some precipitation the last few weeks.
I don't think they got much rain this spring at my uncles ranch. The game and fish wants them to rest the daley pasture, so they are going to be short grass. My uncle has to take care of his kids before me. It is looking like I am going to have to keep them home and feed them all summer. Fortunately I have the feed. With the low price of hay last year I kept all my hay.

A little straight in the back legs (could just be the way he was standing at that moment) but otherwise he's got length, plenty of muscle, not a lot of waste anywhere. Looks like a money maker...

Our two bulls one is thinner because we just brought him home because we had a lot of rain that swept our fence away so he was wondering around for a while probably breeding other cow because there were cows out everywhere but the thinner one is the bigger one even though it doesn’t look like it poor photography on my partIMG_7504.jpeg
