    Callmefence

Hello guys, haven’t been on here in ages. Is callmefence still around? I used to chat with him quite a bit and would like to get back in contact with him.

    DYI Solar Fence Charger

I have built several of these. I was told 10 watts of solar panel per fencer joule. That being said, my 12 joule chargers all have 100 watt panels and it keeps the battery charged. Don’t skimp on the charge controller. This is what I use...

Looking to part with my abundance of semen as I no longer do any ai work. I have several popular angus and Hereford bulls. Can anyone point me in the right direction on where to list it? I have had no luck with local Craigslist adds.

    Bander recommendation?

Not saying this is the right way or the only way just how I do it. I band several hundred every year the day they are born with the little green bands. Have done thousands this way and never had an issue. I store the extra bands in the fridge. Only get what I need out for a couple of days at a...

    Pasture, Rangeland, and Forages Insurance

I do a lot of fall turnips and tillage radishes into farm fields for grazing and cover crops. Both of those work very well broadcasting, but neither like competition.

Castration question -- HENDERSON tool ??

I do this same method. Hundreds and hundreds of calves. Works very well, and they heal up fast. I don’t like to use this method on calves much bigger than 400lbs.

    Dove season

If I wanted to eat some nasty, dark, bloody meat I would go to the store and buy some liver. I never could makes myself like them.

    Nitrogen loss

If you are going to work it in, why spend the money on agrotain? Unless there is no moisture whatsoever in the ground, I see no need for that. Drilling is always better than broadcasting. We plant 1200-1500 acres of wheat every fall to harvest. We both drill and broadcast to get I’ve the acres...

    Manure spreader

Looking to buy a manure spreader. I know absolutly nothing about them, and have never even ran one. Tired of the piles of manure and rotten hay. What kind of features do I want to look for? I don’t want a piece of junk I have to work on constantly. Here are a couple that caught my eye. Open to...
