He's just been eating grass with the occasional apple.

    Tigerstripe's Huge Gut...is it Normal?

The previous owner said that they were de-wormed and had all shots.

    Tigerstripe's Huge Gut...is it Normal?

I'm wondering if that's normal since it is a big difference in a fairly short amount of time. He doesn't seem to be hindered by it much at all.

Why are charolais bulls out of favor?

I thought the general trend was away from large-structured cattle in favor of compact, boxy breeds like angus; and even then the angus people are trying to go smaller. It's too bad, I think charolais are great looking cattle.

Any chance these guys will work.

So this is different than a black baldie? A real scam would be if their balls were plastic and duct taped on and you actually had steers.

Horned Hereford Bull (More photos for Greenwillow)

That's exactly the look I would want in a Hereford bull (or any type for that matter). I may be wrong, but it always seemed to me like their horns are a bit safer than those of other breeds.

What Injuries Have You Sustained from Cattle?

So, are all bulls dangerous or is it possible for one to be calm?

What Injuries Have You Sustained from Cattle?

Yeah, it does sound like the heifers are more dangerous than the bulls.

What Injuries Have You Sustained from Cattle?

If you've ever been injured, what injury, how did it happen and what type of animal was it? I've been playing it safe so far and none of our steers have shown any kind aggressiveness but I want to be able to avoid anything dangerous by seeing the warning signs. So far I have always been...
