    Never fed beetpulp to cattle but we have an old horse and beet pulp is the only way to keep weight on her. She goes through a bag a week. jp

    yearlin bull had his way with a 5 month old heifer a week ago. Got the lute today and will give it tomorrow. I have never heard of one cycling that young. jp

    see if there are good vets in the area, and check with local vet and neighbors about the health of cattle raised there before.some sickness stays in the ground for years. jp

    I've got good vets here. When I call, sometime's he'll figure it out for me on the phone. If he comes out theres a $35 trip charge and he is usaully prompt about gettin here.jp

    i cant remember the parasite name Beefy, just know they were in the gut walls. the cow was a 4 yr old limosine in good condition, aprox 6 months bred.     Angus/B, The final diagnosis from the lab was she was anemic from the loss of red blood cells due to the parisites in her gut walls. I was talkin to a local cattle man today and he rotates his injectable wormers and mentioned he sometimes uses safegard paste. jp

    well my cow was dead this mornin. just glad I had the vet out for the first one so it wont happen to any more. That is why it is so important to call a vet if you're not sure what is wrong, even if ya cant save one ya can stop it from happenin to the rest. I dont understand how some people can...

    must be, if one is doin a better job than the other. I've always thought pour on was just as good till today. and maybe in some climates it still is.jp
