I use twist type because I would lose the donut ring and be SOL. Never had problems with twist-type. 1/4 cc gun would be needed if you plan on using sexed semen.

We are going to use a long term CIDR protocol this year for heifers and they are currently on MGA in a drylot setting. Does anyone know or have information on how long before synchronization protocol begins should we stop feeding MGA?
