What's the youngest you've known/seen a bull calf to breed a cow/heifer? I've got a March 21 bull calf out of Reserve that i'm keeping for clean up but have kept him with some fall heifer calves since he got weaned. Better safe than sorry ..... so when should he be separated. NOTE: normally he'd be serperated but we have some logistics issues at the current time.

What do you think of Reserve? What kind of cow would he work with? Does he add a lot of milk?

Sold neighbor a bottle bull calf off cow that had died last fall. Calf born Sept 2nd, 2016. Him, his brother and nephew decided to use him on their yearling heifers. At 9 months of age, that calf bred and settled 15 of 16 heifers this summer.
