hi. havent been on for a while. glad to be back. when we got our black max bull in '09 he bred the entire herd. our '10 calves came in early june-early august. when they were 2 months each calf developed curly yellow hair in their ears. the following breeding season we turned out our bull as well as 2 others with our cows and 30 of our friends cows. they came from late march-late june. 6 of the friends cows had calves which developed yellow ear hairs and 12 of our calves had them too. when we DNA'ed the calves all the ones with yellow ear hair belonged to our bull. last year we didnt use him and we still had several calves with yellow ears. when DNA'ed none were his. im kinda confused now. anything would be nice.
