A friend sent me the link to the Social Security web site and told me look at it. One the very front page there is English and Spanish explanations. If using the tools, they are in both English and Spanish.

I think this should tell us something and all this time I thought our real friends were the Canadians.

flaboy? - I have a bad feeling about what is going to happen on this thread.

I won't even get started on my thoughts - it would get me banned and the post deleted completely.

Heard that down there in Florida they are probably going to have a Presidential debate that will be entirely in Spanish only. They will use them head sets like they do at the U.N. with a translator.

I think it will be broadcast on the Mexican TV channel, Telemundo? But no Dem debates on FOX.

Compare the effort of putting Paris Hilton behind bars to that of getting rid of illegal immigrants. It's all becoming one big stopped up toilet. We need a good plunger to step up to the plate.

Has anyone else heard the rumor that there is some in government working secretly to bring things to a point in the future where the US will unite with Mexico and Canada to form one country and introduce something called the Amero as the new currency? The NAFTA agreement signed a few years ago was the beginning of such a process. I probably listen to too much talk radio.

Just wondering?

You listen to too much talk radio. What makes you think Canada and Mexico want to unite with the US?

George Bush the Daddy started a push in his presidency to have us all become one big gigantic nation with a thousand points of light.. Actually the idea may have started in Regan's term, but Bush 41 really worked on it.

And for a trivia question - why is NAFTA disguised as an agreement and not a treaty as it was originally planned???

"NAFTA is a treaty under international law. Under United States law it is classed as a congressional-executive agreement rather than a treaty, reflecting a peculiar sense of the term "treaty" in United States constitutional law that is not followed by international law or the laws of other nations."

I remember when it was signed and all the radio people were wondering why it was an "agreement" and not a "treaty." Then it finally dawned on them - it takes two-thirds of congress to approve a treaty. Since they could only get a simple majority to approve it they renamed it an "agreement." That way they could pass it without the country's support, which they did, as usual.

Go to this site and read about the bilderbergers. http://www.bilderberg.org/ According to our Tyler Texas Newspaper, our gov. Rick Perry attended this year. Proable to sell some more of our highways to the forgieners. I think that we have very little influence in our governement any more. Not by voting or petitioning. How many of us woyld flood the streets in protest. Seems this is the ony thing that gets any one's attention any more. You might open the website for unity08 and do some reading. http://www.unity08.com/
