WW squeeze

In the last picture, the grey bar up top with the release pivot on it looks bent downward in the middle. If that throws your pivot points for the swing arms out of whack, they could bind and be aggravating. I'm not a fan of that style of doors, nor the cables up top for timing. That being said, it's heavier than the value chutes you'll buy today and I'd put it in the $1500 range. Serviceable? Yes. Do I want to use it everyday? Nope.

Was surprised at how green the grass is in the pic, it looks to be ahead of ours.

Too bad we did not live closer. I have a Hi-Hog that is in perfect shape and has been stored inside for the past three years.
Hope you have an awesome day.
Cheers

That wouldn't be a bad chute for 20-30 cows. My dad had one like that probably ran 50,000 head through it over the years and then he gave it to me when he got a hydraulic. I used it for years with a small herd and finally upgraded because my cows got too wide to get through it in June when cows are fat and we are syncing and a.i.ing and mine would balk at the auto head catch. That chute in your auction is in way better shape than mine is or was when I got it.

I pretty much have the same squeeze. It had been freshly painted, and a new floor, and bottom boards. I welded up a non skid thinggy for the floor after using it a few times. Gave $900 for it. It had made an appearance at every consignment sale in the area. I think he had been passing it out and asking $1500. Prior to it, I just had a head catch and no squeeze. Game changer for me, but certainly not as nice as some modern ones I see. I poured a concrete pad to sit it on. I "hope" it will last me many years, but it's not covered.

Look it over good, I too question it being bent at the top.

They're built now down the road from me about 35 miles or so at Thomas, OK.

I really don't handle my cows very much, but should I ever need to brand my cows, a decent squeeze is going to be essential.. so maybe 50 head a year

That green grass is from down at the coast.. they have grass pretty much all year.. but they get a lot of liquid sunshine too

With the two previous squeezes going or STUPID money, I don't have much hope to get this for under 3K, which is way over my price point 1616788198000.png

it went for $2500 CAD, so by the time you add another bid, buyers fees and taxes we'd be up well over $3K... I ain't that desperate for a squeeze..

I bought some other stuff at the auction, turns out the same guy bought all 3 squeezes there... He's a BTO wannabe, one squeeze went to his inlaws or something, the other 2 he kept for his 50 cows... that's a lot of money for something that sits around 363 days of the year
