For those of you that collect data what are you guys seeing?
We have done all the steer calves, half the heifers and none of the bulls yet.
Here where we sit so far all calves had creep for 30-45 days. First ones weaned for "show" calves rest them were today. For adjusted weights I use this as we don't have all one breed (I use http://m.cattle.com/ww.aspx ) and average daily gain I take actual ww - BW/days old
568 str, Act ww 538, adj ww 716, adg 3.07 dam PB Angus always raises good one. Calf by our W/C United SimAngus bull from Hook's
C54 hfr by Big Casino out of PB Angus cow by Ironwood New Level act ww 539, adj ww 621, adg 2.65
C52 hfr by Hook bull ouf of PB Shorthorn cow act ww 506, adj ww 626, adg 2.55
So far them are the ones worth talking about! Hope to see them bulls over 700 actual and some close to 4 ADG....
