WTB Livestock heads/skulls

I'm not sure if I'm posting this on the right board but I'm looking to buy the heads or skulls of any livestock. Bovine, equine, hogs, goats/sheep, etc. the purpose of buying these heads is to eventually clean and possibly carve the skull. Been doing this for close to 10 years and I'm always looking for heads as well as bones and such. I'm located in Northern California but frequent the Reno area and will pick up within a couple hundred miles of either of those locations. Thanks!

It really depends on the condition of the head and horns. For a fresh head with a single bullet hole I'll pay anywhere from $50-100 providing the horns are decent. Skulls that have been on the range a season or two with horns that haven't weathered too badly, anywhere from $40-75.

Pig skulls from mature animals I pay $30-40

Goats without horns I pay $10-20.

Nice rams with a good set if horns I'll lay up to $100 providing the horns are somewhat impressive.

Is it weathered or fresh? All the teeth there and lower jaw? I'd pay $60 if it's in good shape.

I didn't know people ate those. If you find someone, I'll take the head and any bone you can spare from it.

If this is a long term thing please private message me your info and I'll keep it on hand. Are you only looking for bulk or is a few here and there worth your time?
You might also talk to your local butcher shop... Heads have to be USDA inspected to be sold into the food chain but most customers don't want the head so you may be able to pick them up cheap/free if it's for non-food use.

I mainly macerate the heads I do since its the easiest for me. Some folks have requested carving in the bone like with a dremel tool. Not my thing really but some people like it.

This guy was REALLY weathered so I was surprised to see the bone get that clean and the horns polish up like that.
