Would you ever consider being a vegetarian, or are you a vegetarian?

What are your thoughts on vegetarians/vegans?

As long as they leave me alone - I care what they do - I will continue to kill animals and eat them.

My wife's sister is a vegetarian, but she knows better than to preach to us about it. She eats what she wants and we eat what we want. To each his own, I say, just don't try and drag me along with you.

I can't think of anything that would make me turn vegetarian. I don't care what other people eat. But in my experience with vegans on the net, they seem to be remarkably ignorant of animals and agriculture. Not to mention rude and arrogant.

I tried it once and since I was the one cooking my husband did also. I thought it might be healthier. I can't remember how many months we went without beef and chicken, maybe six. Anyway, we both felt real good for a while then just started feeling like we needed something. It was hard trying to cook just vegetables and make it interesting especially since I don't like cheese and my husband can't have milk products.

Back to meat we went.

HE11 NO!!! would i ever become a vegitarian. i LOVE meat with a passion.any kinda of meat, not just beef. even before i started raising cattle i loved my meat!

they can do as they please, its not my choice. i have a few friends that decided to become vegitarian to lose weight. i dont have a problem with it unless they do it because of crulity to animals, all the 'chemicals' we use, etc....

Hmmm -

Cattle Today site - about beef?????????????

Well I found a wine tasting website and asked if they have ever thought about drinking beer alone.
Not much of a response.

Duh

I don't think that I could ever do it. There's not very many veggies that I like and I couldn't bring myself to eat tofu. Who would want to eat something called Tofurky anyway? ;-)

I go to school with a couple vegitarians and they don't preach to anyone or try to make people veggies. Vegans seem a little weird to me. I've met a few and they were all extremely pale in color. As long as they don't try to push their beliefs onto me, I'm okay with what ever they want to do. :D

I think my aunt is a vegitarian. The last time I saw her she was trying to sell me on "Milk is bad for you becuase of the hormones they give to the cows." I listened. I don't believe she eats any meat products either becuase of the 'hormones'.

Its all here,
And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it;and let us eat, and be merry.

ST. Luke 15-23

Humans did not climb to the top of the food chain for lack of reason. Tofu sucks!

No, and no.

To each their own, but don't try to convert me because it isn't happening.

I really enjoy eating vegetarians (cattle). hey're the only vegetarians I associate with anymore.

My wife is a vegetarian and alot of times we will have dinner with no meat. She is also a service tech for a major poultry company, and can put 99.9% of men to shame on a horse. I could give up beef , but not ham and beans, baby back ribs, and certainly not her fried chicken, it is second to none. Vegans are weird.

saw a bumper sticker that said " vegetarian is slang for poor hunter" or something like that. i love meat.

I personally would not consider it. I think that meat is part of a well balanced diet. We do live near Keene, which is a town founded by Seventh Day Adventists, ( I hope I spelled that right), and they do not eat meat. Some of them are vegans, but not everyone. There is church sponsered college there and the food in the cafeteria is very good and meat free. It just isnt the way I was raised.

No way. They can live their lives as they want as long as they don't try to chang my eating habits. Let's not forget these are the same people who liked to hectal little kids who were singing the Oscar weiner song.

Curtis I can not find my Bible, but in the New Testament there was one I read that said do not follow the teachings of the false prophet who tells you to not eat meat. King James.
