Cops have and are caught up in bad/questionable shootings and beatings. Also in my experience too many just flat out make bad decisions. Such as a time me son was sitting at a red light and his truck was hit by another car, cop gave him a wreck less driving ticket and he was stopped at a traffic signal.
I thinking maybe required training to be a cop, not a six month classroom have a doughnut type of training. More military including boot camp and daily conditioning, a two year camp. Would have to make pay worth the effort, but it would stop putting a badge and a gun in the hands of a kid who was flipping burgers the other day. I'm just wondering if it would help with their interactions with the public...... Or not.
