I really like the blk eyed peas , but the sound was the horrible and usually they sound great live . Also why even bother having Usher there or Slash if they didn't get some front center stage ... :roll: I agree half time show sucked !!!!!!!

why n the he!! would slash ruin a classic by letting fergie help.hes a sellout wannabe.can u imagine if ac/dc was performing and they said " hey we want u to let fergie sing along to back in black". no way that would happen.football is an american tradition and the halftime shows need to be likewise.i'm not a huge kidrock fan but he would b a good choice or carrie underwood,brooks,strait,aldean.

I didn't get what the folks with the boxes on their hads and christmas lights all over their bodies were supposed to represent.......I guess I could have made those costumes pretty easy and been well on my way to that first million I so desperately need.

I never could figure out the sound either. Watched Keith Urban sing in another venue outside the stadium and it was terrible there as well.

On another topic. I could have sworn I saw the the Right Reverend His Holiness JESSE JACKSON in the owners box.

Getting the sound right for these big arena shows is difficult, and the BEP's suffered from very poor soundwork. Maybe it's time to pre-record the half time show and just show it on the video screen. Or go back to marching bands.

these girls that think range and screaming make them singers are delusional.
especially when you have to stop and take a deep breath for the next scream.
not to mention forgetting the words to the national anthem.

What we could not understand is the half time show, who are they appealling to. The demographics that the commercials are geared to seems to be adults but the half time show seems to be geared toward kids, I mean who else listens to that crap? And the National Anthem, holy cow was that bad.

Well we did not know who anyone was except for Fergie becuase she is hot, so we just figured they all were trying to imitate celebrities, - Mr. T, and Wesly Snipes and I forget the third guy. And yes we were drinking.
