Wormers

Okay, first time calf owner here. Got 8 bottle calves starting out. So far so good. What is all this about worming and wormers? We raise goats so know about goat wormers and when to dose them up, but know nothing about calves. Any brand names, age to dose? Is all this really necessary? They are doing well now. Noticed that the calf starter has Decc. in it.

How old? Usually if they are not grazing and the feed is of quality they probly don't need wormed. When they get on grass, hay and feed I would go with Safeguard or Pnacure(same thing). When they get older go with a stonger wormer like Ivomec and such.
