Yeah, to win the series I felt they had to focus on winning games 3, 4 and 5 at home and then hope to steal game 7
by using both Keuchel and Verlander in the final game.
I even kicked the idea around of dumping the first 2 games to get the match ups you wanted at home.
But that's too dangerous a game to play after they wasted Keuchel.
Verlander is a beast under pressure. He reminds me of Jack Morris when the Twins had him in 1991.
Now you have to send the biggest horse in the barn and hope to scratch out a couple of runs on the road to get him by.
The Astros just haven't been able to find their hitting shoes on the road so far in any of the post season series.
