Wood's Frontend Loader

The controls are too jerky. The loader has all kinds of lifting power. The controls are way to "jerky". It's like the hydraulics pressure is set to high... ???

Can you adjust the Hydraulic pressure so the loader works smoother. ??

I think you can if it's running off the remotes on back of your tractor. If not, I don't know if there's any way to adjust it.

My newer Fords have a flow control on the remotes, what type of tractor do you have?

Is it jerky at idling as well as when the tractor's wound up?

Could be the control valves. Some tractors have closed system Hyd. and others an open system. Some people that sell loaders and install do not know this and install the wrong valve. I know that a John Deere has a closed system and the wrong valve will work but not very well. The valves can be adjusted by installing something inside off them. I know that this answer is vague and not much help for you, but will give you a chance too ask some Hyd. gurus about it.
