i've got an otherwise healthy bull yearling with a woobly rear end. he is about 10 months old. he may have had this for sometime but i have only noticed it for about a month.. he can walk run get up and down, but hips will give way from time to time when moving. he doesn't fall just gives way. does not seem to be in pain. any diagnosis ?

Does he fall over? Walk like he's drunk, or can't control his legs?

The one I have is a 2.5 yr old heifer - spinal injury/pinched nerve as far as my diagnosis goes. Mine will be butchered because of it.

I raise bulls and will get one like that every so often probably about that age. Doc always thinks it's a spinal injury. They seem to survive fine, but end up in the freezer.
