0-5 on the first five heifers. Of course 2 were my registered heifers.

I guess at least we know I can settle them AI. :bang:
 
Frustrating isn't it? I've had so much better luck with crossbreds that I don't ever want another registered animal besides the bulls on the place. It's like the ones with papers have a target painted on them.

It's really against everything I preach, but at the moment I may hold some of these over for a second round. Would graft calves on them but with those bringing $3-400 not much profit there. Things have picked up we now have 5 lives ones on the ground since the original post.

No way of knowing. One was born last Saturday, heifer never went into a real hard labor. She will go to town

The other 4 were born while nobody was around and found dead. All cleaned off, just dead. It was pretty cold so they may have gotten too chilled.
