I plan to plant about 10-12 acres of annual ryegrass for my cattle as a supplement this winter. I have a neighbor who raises quarter horses and plants for them but only allows the horses about an hour or two of grazing the rye, then has to move them because they get diarrhea if they stay any longer. Are cattle the same or? BTW, I live in Central Florida. thanx, guys!
