I have winged a calf, how long will it be before the mother cow will quit mooing? Will she come in heat now? Thanks any help is a plus for me ,I`m new in raising catle.

she should stop in a few days and sahe should cycle anytime within the next 21 days
if she is in good condition and depending on how old the calf is she should already be cycling
 
Winging a calf, thought you had crossed a cow with a chicken, like they crossed a buffalo with a chicken to get bullalo wings?

my original thought was someone was a bad shot and just injured him and didn't get a good kill shot on him :lol: :lol: :lol:

That's what i thought at first, kinda like the old western movies. :lol: :lol:
 
David, if the calf is old enough to wean the cow should have already come into heat. Usually from 45-65 days after calving (depending on body condition as angus said).They will come into heat every 21 days or so.
