This was not a day to be out on the roads.
Wind is blowing the snow into some rock hard drifts.
Had to take Daughter to Helena for a dentist appointment. It wasn't too bad until we got out of the canyon.
Interstate was clear and dry for about a mile.
I was behind another vehicle we were both passing 3 cattle pots and then at 75mph we hit 3" of wet slush and I think there were all 5 of us about to wet our pants.
i almost slid into the truck on my right the guy in front almost hit the ditch and the other truckers were able to hold steady.
We got clear of each other, but my heart was pounding.
Coming back got through Great Falls after dark and hit a nasty ground blizzard up until we got a couple miles past the county lines.
Passed a state plow in the ditch. He was really stuck.
Made it home, but one corner almost got me there too.
Glad for 4-wheel drive and a truck with some power.
Hope the school bus can make it through tomorrow morning.
