So,
is there anybody on here that knows much about these? Having trouble registering at the windmill forum, does not appear they are defunct? I finally found one but it is missing some parts.

Do you know what brand it is? I believe Aeromotor is still in business in San Angelo Texas.
(You will need to zoom out (decrease window size) in order to see entire parts page)

Thanks, it's a 10' dempster but close enough in design that I can at least get the names of the parts I am missing. The stub is missing, and some things related to the brake and that tail thing I don't know the name of with the spring. The aermotor sold before I got there so I'm stuck trying to find parts for this one which is apparently more difficult. Going to have to fabricate some things I guess.

I have a 3 legged tower from probably aermotor? Trying to figure out how to anchor it, can't wait until it looks like that one.

Just curious if you know the height of that tower?

We still have them. They are the Aero. You can get brand new parts for them. We just put a new gear box and a couple fins on one. The regular water well guy will get parts and work on them.

Cement pillars is the way to go. Get some big pvc pipe or casing and dig a hole. Cement it up and a little ways above ground to keep the feet from being in the dirt. You can cement a square plate with some rebar welded to the bottom. Put a little twist in the bar and tap them in while its wet. Weld the legs to it or some ears so you can bolt the legs down.

We laid this one down with a front end loader because one of the legs washed out. It just had some cement blocks originally.

Sorry I don't know exactly. I'm guessing around 30' looking at the pic. I want to say each horizontal brace is around 6' from the next. The brake handle on the bottom left is around eye level to me.
