I have a cow that has been filling up with milk slowly for weeks. Her bag is slam full as of the last couple-3 days. I haven't noticed a cow with a full bag for so long before. Is this normal? I'm ready to see that sucker hit the ground
 
No it's a cow, not 100% sure on her age but she ain't no spring chicken. I'd say a 5-6 yr old

I had a cow a month ago so loose and wide open I swear you could see right through. Chewing cud calm as can be. But she watches me. Leave her alone, next thing you know bull calf up running around. They are all different, just be patient.
A watched pot never boils is used SO much, but SO true most the time!

Well she got down to business today. Spit out a pretty little heifer, I would guesstimate 70 lbs or so.
 
Good news!! See, nothing to worry about, lol, same thing I say to myself everytime we calf after the anxiety attacks subside. Haha
 
Good news!... I have 1 that's close to calving... getting pretty loose and has been bagging up, she's either 12 days late already (300 days), or has 9 days to go... Her last calf (her first) she held on to a LONG time at 296 days, so who knows what's cooking in there. She makes me laugh every time I go feed them... she walks just on the other side of the corral, with a very determined pace, often leading me by 10 feet, the other times slowing down to clearly indicate she wants a petting on her neck before continuing. If she takes 10 days to calve, it'll be on her own 3rd birthday!
 
We have one like this right now, she's been teasing us with that bag for nearly 2 weeks and is as loose as a goose :)
 
I just got a little brown bull calf an hour ago... I'm suspecting she held it for 302 days, I have been waiting for her for *ever*
