Diseases are killing lots of the Magnolia's here.

It starts with spots on the leaves. Lost one last year.

Thanks for the compliments. Van, yes I took the pic and a lot of other Magnolia pics in preparation for a movie pitch. They grow wild all over the place here. I was thinking of pitching a movie to be titled "Rain Falling on Magnolias" to counter the "Snow Falling on Cedars" movie. But as rain is so seldom seen these days around here, I have indefinately shelved the movie idea. Here is another pic taken fron a pasture area:
