Why no classifieds on here?

We use to and it was nothing but ads like " weaned 300lb beef steers for 400$ a head " it's was all just scams like that. I've thought we needed a good one for a long time, but I guess there's not anyone to sort through all scams and real ads.

I think that it might work if it was limited to registered users and closely monitored. You may even want to list "Qualifications" to use or something like that...? Being active for so long, etc. etc..

Just my thoughts.

I've got a fuel transfer tank I'd like to sell and I know its kinda limited to farmer and long haulers and thought someone from here could use it.

would be nice to have a classified section I like surfing cattle range and craigslist and the thrifty nickle even when I ain't looking to buy just seeing what out there and seeing some people who have lost their mind on cattle prices

Yep, this type is used on a couple of the classic car boards I'm on. I don't recall ever seeing any spam or scammers on it but the website owner may keep them cleaned out.

Seems like classifieds are an invitation to scammers like honey is to flies. I don't blame the admins if they don't want to mess with the hassles of classifieds.

I haven't looked for a while, but NAT has a pretty good classified section. Yes, and it attracts some riff-raff too.
