Why I live where I do

Been working out of town in DFW for the last 7 months. Home just on the weekends. I hate the "big city" but that's where the job is right now.

Was listening and watching the pair of great horned owls that hang around the place. Real relaxing. This morning I watched a real wide 8 point chase a doe across the field and into the woods. I hope he was successful.

It is peaceful being back on the place and even though there is a lot to do, I will choose to do it gladly over being in the city.

I agree tater even though I'm still stuck working in a "little" big city. I much prefer the country life.

The only reason I can see for citys is so the rats and pigeons have a place to live

I been gone from home way too long, but am getting closer to making the move back home to my little hill farm.

Funny how you can put your head down and get following a path and don't realize how far from home you roam.
