Who on here is buying this stuff?

I dunno, buying human food in what amounts to a 5 gal bucket just reminds me of buying something like cat litter...

I could buy a new reelNrod, plenty of Fred Arbocast hula poppers, and a nice rifle and a lot of food gettin ammo for $3000.
But if those are standard shelving units, those cans are just a bit bigger than a 3lb coffee can.

Mormons are encouraged to have a year of stored food.

But look!!! It's GLUTEN FREE!!!
That alone makes it worth every dime..

(a #10 can btw, 'can' be any size the manufacturer wants it to be since there is no real set size for cans but generally, a #10 can is approximately 6 3/16 inches in diameter and 7 inches tall, holding roughly 105 ounces of food, which is equivalent to around 3 quarts or 12 cups.)

One of the draws of the freeze dried food is that it will keep... and does not take up near as much space as canned goods. Most canned food will keep a couple years but the quality will decline some..same with food in the freezers... even vacuum packed like I do mine... the freeze dried stuff does not deteriorate. I have a couple friends that have a freeze drier and they love it.
They are expensive machines to buy for home use, but have been told that the food tastes as good as fresh from the garden. Waiting on some home dried food to try....
