Finally. Yes FINALLY, my tax return was processed. Uncle Sam owes me just over $6K. The CPA processed it electronically.

I got a note letting me know that they would process my papers if I am paying but they will not process refunds until after the government goes back to work. What the heck? They continue to take payroll taxes each and every week and I had to submit $14K with my extension request. They wanted $6K too much and now they won't let me have it back?

Nothing new under the sun. I'd be on my CPA's ass for a piss poor estimation of taxes due.

Waiting for the $11K the feds owe me

Been waiting since last March.

Big news the other day - some well connected person up here got nearly $100K in back taxes written off by the Canadian equivalent of your IRS.

Seems I am either the wrong skin colour or do not send enough money to the local elected leaders.

All I want is what is rightfully mine - harder to get than many realize.
