Misty was talking about snow in another post so I wondered. What is your weather?
52 here at 8:30 PM and pouring rain. Might have a few snow flurries in the morning.

Its cold here Mr. kenny, the rain has stopped and suppose to be in the 20's tonight. The very thought of snow or ice makes me shiver & shake like a hound pup crapping peach seeds. Maybe the sun will come out tomorrow and warm up.

Cold as a hore's heart. Wind chill close to 0. I am already sick of this crap. Am moving south until the weather gets so hot I start whining about that too.

Okay here goes....since I just got done with my dinner and I'm not sure how much longer I will be able to hold my arm up to type...... Temp, I don't know, I spent about 6-7 hours outside shoveling, snowblowing and plowing snow, I alternated between sweating like a ...... and freezing my axe off. Was weird, was frozen in my feet when I had to put the chains back on the right rear tracter tire and yet had to yank my hat off cause my head was frying...... Snow flurries.....well, lets see, after I spent 6-7 hours moving the crap around, and was on the way back to the house I noticed yet another couple inches of real fluffy crap had landed on the plowed, shoveled and blown areas. I'm thinking a bottle of advil might make me stop feeling like I had a stroke on my right side.

Sorry for the rant. NOT!

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH a woman after my own heart.

I have total respect for anyone in the north but are you all crazy.
I haven't plugged a tractor up in 20 years and have never pushed snow with the tractor but one time. How in the world do you stand it? Heck no I ain't tough.

Same ole carp....10-20mph winds from one direction or another.......40 degree swings daily in the temps..........not a drop of moisture in sight and an empty promise of rain 5-7 days out.

I can fill a bucket with mud and sent it to you so you won't forget what it is. :lol2:

Probably be dust by the time it gets thru all the dry area. Better put a lid on it...

Really haven't heard of much in the way of fire but it ought to be easy to have one get away. Been about 28 days since the last rain.

Ended up with 4.2" and strong winds. Today put up some of the wire that was downed. Spent most of the day on the driveway to the house. Had a culvert fill up and there went the drive. Had three calves born during the rain.

It feels like Christmas here in Texas, that's for sure. I had to cover up all the vegetables last night, it got down to 28. They made it though and so will I :pretty:

:lol2: :lol2: Well we got up to 28 today and after a month of snow- and temps down to 20 Below with chill factors pushing 30-40 Below-- I thought spring was here...Shirt sleeve weather.... I couldn't find a parking space around our little town- altho parts of it needed 4 wheel drive to get around- with all the folks out shopping and enjoying the spring weather...

Cows are grazing thru 5-6 inches of snow- and looking fat and sassy.... :)

Cold and windy here, little snow on the ground. I reckon I'll get used to it, by March we'll think this is spring weather.

What's your secret? You're less than 4 hours SW of me and I know I spent 100 hours on the tractor last winter pushing driveways, probably half of that on mine!
