What's the story behind this place.

Help Support CattleToday:

It used to be the "go-to" place years ago. It was open to the public. The huge pool was fed by Jaybird Spring. Very very cold water. It also has a roller skating rink. Stopped making money because it was pretty much a family environment. The class of people went downhill and drugs started really taking over so the owners closed it and it was bought a few years back by a ministry group. It's now used for church retreats and private affairs.

On one hand it's a recreational area for people to have fun at.
On the other hand it's a capitalist investment by an entrepreneur. In other words a business.

Anything else you need to know?
I wasn't in Mississippi so I don't need no lip from you.

That waterslide was the death nell for Jaybird. It was put in there by the previous "owner", not the Friends of Jesus now occupying the place.
