For those of you who have a sig line under your username, why did you chose the quote or saying you use? Do you change yours often and why?

It's appropriate.

I change mine fairly often . I've always enjoyed quotes, some are mine or at least to the best of my knowledge they are, some I've heard over time and don't know who said them . The ones that are mine usually are where somebody reminds me of something I may have said years ago . For a while I had one that said " when they first made cottage cheese how did they know they were done ", that was something I said at a resteraunt one day and my BIL reminded me of it years later . The one I'm using now came off of the wall in the mens restroom at City Barbecue .

Whether I am joking around or being serious, I am very, very picky about them, always I have been. I will sometimes read through stuff for a couple of hours before choosing a new one or not choosing at all. I normally change mine often, but I'm going to hold onto this one for awhile. Its one of my favorites.

Just kind of cool to say/advertise whats on your mind. Reading them kind of tells you a little about the person making the post.

I also use:

"When I take a mans money, I ride for the brand." Con Conagher

If the quality of your line is the result of really giving it a lot of thought and consideration, the ones you choose not to use must really stink

This thread reminded me to change mine. Saw this the other day and fell off the chair laughing.

Ichange mine as I findquotes or sayings that reflect how I feel at various times. I think it is ineresting reading others signatures.

I change mine often, depending on what I read or am caught up in at the time. My current sig is on a poster that is the only decoration in my ISS classroom. It fits me. It says what it needs to say about me to the kids. I have had song lyrics, quotes from books, one liners. I just get in the mood and change my sig.

I change mine quite often, the one I am using now is from a bill board, which at the time I found funny, I also like to change my avatar too, I see something and like it so change it if possible.

A frame of mind and the way you look at life for me.

Don't change it often. The other one I use at times is: If stupidity were only painful....

I don't change mine often. The quote I use is one I heard about 3 years ago, and although there are brief periods of time I'll change to a new signature, I like the current one so well that I always come back to it.

I change mine based on what's going on at the time. My current one is my favorite. Thought about havin it put on my tombstone.

It comes from a poem about hunting. Wish I could remember who wrote it.

I will have to say that I really enjoy reading those sig lines.

Am pretty glad you decided to git rid of one of your favorites Angel. I'm thinking you really need to quit spending hours and hours reading the back of shampoo bottles and try oh, say, maybe some of those lines your "clients" find enlightening. :D

Great topic! I like skylines sig. I put my sig up on a whim when I was having a bad day. I should change it. It will take me a while to think of something though. How about, "Whats the difference between a thief that breaks into your home, and some one that tells you to pay them or they will take your home."
