Last night on "Last Comic Standing" to break a tie judges said... each of you tell us one joke,
the winner said...

"Well I haven't talked about gun control yet...
My neighbor said to me "What would the founding fathers say about gun control?"

I think if the founding fathers came back and you asked them about gun control they would say...
What is this I hear about women having the right to vote?
And WHO is that I see in the White House?

Is that one of Thomas Jefferson's kids?

Maybe it was his delivery, but it caught me by surprise and I couldn't stop laughing.

Didn't even make me smile, much less laugh :frowns:

That same dumbass comedian would scream like a stuck hog if he thought someone was going to infringe on his 1st amendment rights.

I believe that while astounded the states and federal government exercise such control and that citizens would allow such tyranny. They would be gravely concerned with the removal of God from our daily lives with churches, schools, government and citizens abdicating the responsibility for the moral well being of its people. I believe they would actually weep because of how quickly we have allowed this cancer called socialism to grow without being cut from the body so healing can begin

I concur. And this seems applicable to where we find ourselves today, at least for my perspective.

I agree with you red angus 2010. I would hate to see my Granddaddy's face while he watched the news of what was going on now. He was a super nice man and a very caring soul. His heart would be breaking now.

I enjoyed reading the Biblegateway link Commercial Farmer.

If the Founding Fathers came back they would probably wonder why we hadn't put the 2nd to better use I think they would be highly upset with some stuff.

Some things I think they would say.

Why is the federal government so big
Why so much debt
Why are federal judges over ruling the will of the people
Why are two people of the same sex getting married
What is Obamacare and why do we have it
What happened to states rights
Why don't kids say the pledge in school
Why can't kids pray in school
Why aren't Bibles still in school
Why are we trying to remove God from everything
Why do people say happy holidays instead of Merry Christmas
Why do Congressmen and women make so much
Why have some of y'all been in office for so long
How did this fool I the White House get elected
What have y'all done to our great country
Why aren't you following the constitution
then they roll their eyes burry their heads in their hands and say what a mess

"Why don't kids say the pledge in school." They would say pledge what the heck is that must be something that happen in the 1900' s We did not have a pledge. Must have been copied from that social ministers flag pledge. "The Pledge of Allegiance was written in August 1892 by the socialist minister Francis Bellamy (1855-1931). It was originally published in The Youth's Companion on September 8, 1892. Bellamy had hoped that the pledge would be used by citizens in any country." And also when was God added to it. OH! 1954 to be exact. No they would say that we have done good we gave America a basis to live by and they have really improved on it.

A basis to live by true...improvements?? Horse shyt !!!

The pledge to the flag...who cares who wrote it. Even a socialist baptist preacher gets it right occasionally. He did a very good job of it and should remind a person what his country represents.
