He’s actually not had any creep. Just momma and grass. I have two groups of cattle and one farm gets creep the other does not.
 
Maybe someday, when I quit learning things the hard way. Until then calves like that are a lofty goal around here.

I say we were both correct. 700 lbs the day the first pic was taken is about right.
 
I am horrible at guessing weights but would say his mamma is doing a heck of a good job and I bet she is going to wean better than 60% of her body weight.

I was thinking the same thing. Based on that ratio a 2,000 pound cow would have to wean one at around $1,200 pounds. That seems like a little much to expect to me.
