What do I need to do for the pasture were the cows have tore the be nice out of it?
Do I need to disc it and try and level it up or harrow the he!! out of it. And when do I need to sow more seed on it. Clover I think I could spread this weekend (Dark of the moon). Other seed I dont know.

I was thinking of discing the places were I rutted it up and sowing oats and orchard grass and brome early in the spring?

The cows have really tore the pasture up where I have been feeding with all the wet weather we have had. I am just looking for some ideas.

Time for seeding clover and fescue in this area. Drag the area with a chain harrow to level the ground and cover the seed.

What about just frost seeding it? Put it on this weekend while there is snow on the ground?
what other types (not clover) can I do that with? Alfalfa? I thought I read something about all the little bitty seeds you could do this with.

Plan is to just put on 5lbs per acre field already has clover and add some alfalfa to. Can I do this?

Fescue? I thought it couldnt be put down till spring? We are really cold right now and have snow.
