What time do you get up ? What time would you get up if you had no oblivations ?
My whole working career I got up from 4 to 5 am , now being retired I still get up the same time. I just don't get sleeping till 9am or later if you have the chance like some people I know, half your day is wasted. It is nothing more relaxing than being outside when the sun is ariseing , all the sounds of nature waking up. You hunters know what I am talking about.

Before I quit smoking, I'd wake up at about 4 A.M. Make a big strong pot of Coffee and fire up a smoke. Since I quit 3 years ago I sleep at least an hour later or better.

Usually 4-5 somtimes as ealry as 2-3 once in a while as late as 6. Kind of depends on how many times during the night my or the dogs bladder got me up

4:30 or 5:00 depending on the weather and time of year. Chores usually take a little longer when it's muddy, and during calving season I want to see the cows before I head out to work.

Get up around 5:30 am.Put the coffee on and set around and think of the things I'm gonna get done for the day.
But by the end of the day I have done everything but the things I had planned to do.

Seems before I retired, it was always 4-5am. Now retired, since I don't have to get up at that time....it's still 4-5am. Occasionally it's as late as 6am, but just as occasionally it's 3am too. Since retirement, my wake up time isn't quite as consistent as before. I know for sure though, when the sun goes down....I'm done.

Usually about 6, sometimes as early as 4:30 or as late as 7:00. Something about colder weather has always made me stay up later and sleep later, so lately it's been a lot of 7:00 rise times.
Whatever the day brings, I like to wake up early enough to ease into the day if I feel like it. Coffee is the most important meal of the day, and I don't like to rush it. But, I guess you all know how well that sometimes works out on the farm....

Sometimes midnight(this morning) but I go back to sleep on the couch, sometimes 8:00am--Can't seem to get in a good grove.Nowhere I gotta be usually,so sleep till I wake up..Always was a morning person, but like someone else said, once the sun goes down,I'm done..

Thanks--I do seem to have a bit more stamina now,I stayed out running around yesterday till 3:00pm!! Course I crashed the min I got back in,but up ready to go today..Wish I was a bit more confidente in my driveing skills

I get up between 5 and 5:15 every morning. No reason for it other than it's just an old habit. Love to get up, pour the first cup of coffee, go out on patio and enjoy my 30 minute "quiet time". Good time for relaxation, day dreaming, planning and a little "prayer meeting". This time of the year I actually put on a light jacket and a pair of slippers. :P

id have no trouble sleepin' to 9am, but i feel like ive wasted a good day... its 6 am

I get up with the birds. No alarm clock needed here. Just outside my bedroom window I have a huge Karee tree that is house to plenty a bird. About 30m on, I have appr 50 guinea fowl that roost in a big clump of trees   Oh and then there are the bantams..................!

Most days I'm up about an hour and a half prior to my being at my 911 job. So depending on what time I have to be at work, I'm up anywhere from 6-6:30 am. I like to sit and listen to the coffee perkin' and smell it as it gets ready. Usually doesn't get finished before I'm pouring my first cup of the day.

When it's not winter, I will sit out on the step and listen to the birds, especially the meadowlarks.

Or I might just sit at the kitchen table and watch the mares out in the corral to the west of the house.

Love watching the sun come up, and also love watching the sun set. So PEACEFUL in the country!

As I sit in the morning with the first rush of caffeine coursing through my body, I will plan my day, or ponder on a problem, or visit with my hubby if he's home. Life is GOOD

After milking cows as a kid and as a young adult after my father died, I quit in 1980. I took off my wrist watch, and put it in the same trash bin as the alarm clock. With no alarm, I have gotten up between 4 and 5 for nearly thirty years. If anyone has trouble getting up, I tell them to go outside before daylight on a clear, still, cold morning and they will never sleep late again. My favorite time of the day is 45 minutes before daylite. Ain't we lucky to live in the country!!!! gs
