I know what I'd do, but what will we do to Iran for the little drone incident? The thing cost 180 million, I'd tear up at least 500 milion dollars worth of their stuff.

That would be just what they want...you cant fight those idiots like that..

Acceptable losses I suspect, and will be written off.
If the public knew (or cared) how many were lost due to everyday mechanical/electronic problems there would be a howling.

Little bit of difference in mechanical failure, and shooting one down. It is in my book anyway.

If someone flew a drone over your ranch wouldn't you shoot it down?

The drone was in international airspace, 20 miles off the coast. You're not gonna get any sympathy from me for a country that celebrates in the streets when the WTC fell.

The Iranian government is claiming that the drone was in their airspace. That's obviously not the most reliable source out there, but I don't think it's an outrageous claim, either. Hopefully cooler heads prevail here.

I'd sneak in there and put a hog head in their bed, then I'd tear up some stuff too.

Walking around in a desert with a rag on your head, its hard too have a cool one :cowboy:

It was in International air space. The Pentagon is releasing the coordinates. Those were logged when it was shot down. Iranians are putting out propaganda on the location.

President is providing an alibi - "it was a mistake". It was shot down under orders of an Iranian General who was swatting a fly and the technician on the missile battery thought he meant to fire.

Here is the quote. There are YouTube clips up of the actual statement.

President Trump said in a pool spray with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Thursday that he does not believe Iran intentionally shot down an unmanned U.S. drone flying in international airspace over the Strait of Hormuz, claiming it was probably "a mistake made by somebody who shouldn't have been doing what they did."
