I have this weed in my lawn despite using Scotts Weed and Feed for 3 years and spraying with 2-4-D between feedings. My lawn only has grass and this weed. What is it and what kills it? It only grows about 3" tall and has the little purple flowers as shown in the picture. This weed was sprayed with 2-4-D 10 days ago. Obviously no effect. I believe the common name is Creeping Charlie, but I am not sure.

I'm real anal about my lawn. It doesn't have a weed in it other than this bugger. Maybe I should just learn to relax! :lol:
 
Anything that will kill horsenettle, will probably kill that. I'm not a fan of cimmaron, but it will kill horsenettle. It will take it a month to do it to. I bet if you got aggressive with it, and sprayed it two or three times, it'd be long gone July.
