Agree. They are warts. Will go away eventually, but she may get more first. Warts are a virus, and most of them go through it in their first year or so.

I have a heifer with a nice line of warts along her jawline. Ugly! It's not like you're alone on this.

Is it just me, or does it seem like the warts are more common to black hides? It could also be I just notice them so much more readily on the black hides because they show so strong? I honestly can't remember seeing any on my red cattle, but I'm sure they have had it too?

This is the second black cow this year with wart. They stayed in seperate pastures and hsd no contact.

Very common. If you do not show, no need to worry about it.
