Was offered a bunch of older bred cows youngest is 12 oldest is 14. This guy has a pretty nice herd,So they come from some quality breeding. I don,t really want them . But how would you ever set a price?

I totally agree with you, Ron. I would have to see the cows, and mouth them - regardless of what kind of a program they come from, or what they have done in the past. RIGHT NOW is what you are buying, and you probably will be able to make some money - IF you have the space and feed. You can profit from the calves, and perhaps get a replacement or two that you didn't really expect, - besides you could have a surprise producer in one or two of them. Nothing ventured - nothing gained - - - and take a tax loss if they bomb!Ronald Boggess":1w4dnssw said:I voted $100.00 over cull.
