I've got a little pasture around my pond where swamp grass and dirt grows. Been like that for about four years. Its real wet around it. Right now there is a lot of water standing now. My question is, what would be a good grass to plant there. I'm gonna disc it up this summer and level it out, if it drys out. Just looking for something to plant back.

I was thinking going tif-9. But I wasn't sure how it would do in the real wet areas. Would the tiff-9 doing any good drill into exsiting pasture. It bahia but its the common type. A fellow planted some t-9 on some produce land and it made excellent pasture. Thought about drilling some this spring.

I have a lot of creek bottom that stayed so wet I had to put a drainage system in. I mixed common bermuda in with Bahia . The area the bahia doesn't like the bermuda loves.
