Weekender saga continues

i've been through a lot of those dogs and I have one of my best right now.. she's a 25/25% anatolia / GP with 50% ack bash. i have no idea how to spell them. excellent dog. stays where you want. learns fast. very loving. aggressive to strangers.

likes chicken though.

A rancher in NE Washington had some of those dogs with his sheep. The wolves killed the dogs and then started on the sheep. I think the success of this greatly depends on the variety of wolf involved.

suspect the lineage and/or experience of the dogs makes a difference too. and numbers as also mentioned.

This place just doubled in price. Nearest neighbor is 10 miles away.

We might have new neighbors on the weekender road. Been seeing some activity there. Cant wait to meet them.. lol

Activity going on down that road. Guy who is splitting up with girlfriend is out getting his junk. He had 3 junker cars sitting out there. I drove by and saw a car parked on the highway running. I flew by and checked cows, decided i'd peek in if it was still there when I went back by. And, it was there so I peeked in and no one was in it... but then thought, I recognize that car.. Sure enough, the weekender had driven it out there and walked back to his place, about 1 1/2 miles and was moving car #2. Then, at the other end of the road we had the county putting out rock. I got around them to find a guy with a car mover. I knew he wasn't there for the county so I asked if he was there for so and so... Yep, his gps brought him in the wrong way. I sent him back and down further to the other end of that road. His hauler isnt big enough for all 3. They're putting the place up for sale, so, we'll look into buying it. Tired of these city people coming out and junking up the place..I'm also tired of wearing neon shirts just so I don't get shot from these people who think they can shoot in any direction on a few acres....

Hopefully you will buy that property from the so called weekenders, because in your area it shouldn't be a problem, with property that cheap and big producers like you,you should own it all, come up here were ground goes for 7500 an acre, not to many weekenders, just big producers.

:lol: Wished we had bought up all the land about 15 years ago that was around 300 an acre. Most of our land was between 300 down to 162 an acre. Most of the better stuff was in the 300 range and most came with most of their mineral rights. Cant explain why land was so cheap here back then. Its beautiful here. Large oaks, creeks, lots of wildlife.. Its a mystery. Just glad we did buy what we did. I'll add that buying some land you passed up on when it was 300 an acre, is up for sale now for 2250 an acre, makes one cringe. What makes it seem cheap still is people looking for a weekend place search all over where land is double, but then come here and see land just over 2000 an acre, it seems cheap..
There has been a boom in the last month, people trying to snatch up land that 'might' go into solar panels...
