I sowed brome last fall with a wheat cover. I cut the wheat for hay this spring and the brome looks good. The fields are on a neighbor's farm. They were out of use for a few years but were cropped before that. There is a lot of plantain in a few of the fields. Should I be concerned about it? I'm thinking as long as it's not shading the brome it will be okay. With the wet weather, the brome is growing above the plantain. Am I too late if I want to spray? It's getting mature.
