65 yesterday 55 today snow tomorrow, nothign to reload so I'll just sit around and gripe.

Dun it is 55 degrees here today as well and raining it's ass off.
Got an electrical fence problem when it rains going to ground somehow.
I didn't think it wise to run up and down it with the fault finder in the lighting so I opted for reloading.
I will trace it down tomorrow cow's are locked out of that pasture right now.

If it's wet enough just cruising the fence may find it. Hearing the snap as it arcs is how I've found a bunch of ground problems.

I have crused it and can't find it, has to be a cracked insulator somewhere.
Dang run is almost 1/2 mile long with a ton of insulator's. I noticed it the yesterday when checking voltage it was only putting out 7,000 volt's when it was dry. Pulled the fault finder off the Mule battery was dead. I just closed the gates on the bottom pasture and said I would find it today, with it raining it is only putting out 4,000 volts. Then fire started falling out of the sky.

Its raining like crazy here too

OK ok. you guys are making me jealous.. showin all that mud.. and talking rain.. snow..etc. :cry2:

As much as we need the precip I hope the serious stuff holds off till after Thursday. Working yearlings and fall calvers that day.

Limo please come bring as many buckets as you can and get some of this lol I almost got my tractor stuck in there a lil bit ago.

Raining here to my pond is only lacking 5-6" from running out the overflow. First time in 2 years, hoping it doesn't make the run around. Sure nice seeing the water and mud.

CB , do have a hunting population of turkeys there in the Big Thicket

I don't remember what mud looks like. We haven't rec'd any of the snow the mountains (desperately needed) have gotten recently either. What little snow we've had so far has been so dry it was useless. I'm just hoping for April rains now. :frowns:

Yep over in the National Forrest on the East Side of Rayburn.
That is Angelina National Forrest in the Bannister unit.
Technically I wouldn't consider that the thicket.
I had a small flock on my place until Rita, haven't seen a turkey here since.
