Today we weaned a few and worked them as well as another group that have been weaned for a month or so. Most had already been through the chute before so today was just sale requirement vaccinations.

They look good. Nice hay feeder you have there.
We just weaned 30 head 2 days ago. Well, we weaned 3 days ago and they all got out during night. Took a pipe gate off post (twisted brackets). All is good today. Calves are not bawling, cows still are a little. Calves are loving their whole shell corn already and grazing quietly. Soon as they see either one of us, the wonder over to the feed barrels. Spoiled in two days!
