It was handy Tues. to catch and seperate my calves that needed to be weaned. It was rainy and wet but warm for this time of year, the almanac said the time was right. My question is, it safe to keep them dry in the barn with hay, grain, water etc. and wait a few days for this wet weather to pass before I give them their shots a whatnot? BTW they are nose to nose with mama,a gate between them.

They are going to be stressed no matter what... rain or shine. If it looks like its going to clear up soon, would be better to wait. I try to minimize the times I have to be out in the rain, snow, or any other weather that would make me wet and cold.. Dont always happen that way, but if I can make it happen that way.. then I will.
