Weaning photos

Calves were weighed in April. Had vet out first week in May and these keepers were weaned on Saturday which is when the photos were taken.

How old were they when you weaned them?

Well they are mostly September calves and were weighed in early april and averaged about 215 to 220 days. I don't have the exact numbers here with me.

We submitted weights to association and made selections and had Vet out on 5/3/08 and vaccinnated the various groups according to marketing or keeping etc. Steered non keeper bulls.

On 5/18 I weaned the keepers mostly to begin to get the bull calves ready for test. and will wean the market calves as soo as we finish making hay.
