Weaning lot

I have a small lot that I use to feed feeder cattle in. It currently has 8 stand hi tensile fence. I have added electricity to 3 of the wires. I have never weaned cattle as it hasn't had power until recently. How would you feel about weaning bought cattle in this lot with electric fence now

It probably would hold in rodeo bulls. Shouldn't be a problem at all with calves.

I have a six acre pasture that I set up with an electric fence to wean calves on. It has three hot wires and the other two are ground wires. It works great, the only calves that I have had go through the fence was from my dog chasing them through. I am sold on fence line weaning.

That should work just fine. Electric works good, and it being high tensile is even better.
