We are getting precipitaion

It's raining here, too. Last I heard we are under a tornado watch until 1:00 a.m. There's no thunder, no lightening, no high winds...so, I'm gonna go on to bed and not worry about it. I'm just gonna be glad for the rain...we sure do need it.

Glad you folks are getting rain. Here's to a good year :D

Any corn going in down your way?

Just watched the weather on FOX and it looks like the worst stuff is west of us (IH35 and into the Hill Country). There has been some flooding west of Austin with one place reporting house flooding. 2 1/2-3" an hour out toward Marble Falls.Z

It just started to rain a little bit not long ago, after a long time with no rain. Its been probably almost 2 months with no rain, so Im looking forward to the next few days of rain. Gonna cut into my spring break fishing, but Id rather have the rain, have all summer to fish.

The lightning is just starting now, along with a little heavier rain. Only supposed to get worse through the night. Probably will lose internet and TV soon (both satellite), doesnt take much to lose signal.

Light rain just started here. Hope it keeps it up like the weather sites are predicting. :D Z

I really want some rain out of this system. It was supposed to have started last night, but you know how the weather forecasters are. Still dry here. We need some good spring rains, even if it is spring break and I was planning on painting.

Oh, gosh I missed this.

It started raining at 9:30 last night, rained all night, and was still going at 6 am when I left the house. 3.5 inches so far. I am so glad I lightly disced my hay field yesterday. I wished I had time to do more fields yesterday.

My wife had to go about 25 miles around to get to work this morning and is going to have to do the same thing tonight to get home.

Intellicast has dropped their prediction from 90% to 30% so we're probably goin to get it again tonight. Friends in the nothern part of the county got 8 inches.Z

Ended up with 8 inches and 6 drowned cattle 1 cow 2 baby calves 3 stockers and about a mile of fence tore up plowed fields eroded bad down to clay in places also my gravel road washed out. other than that it was a good rain first time the tanks have run around in 2 years. My son son asked me if I was upset I say no I have learned in my 62 years to not worry about the things you can not change and keep looking forward for we came out of it all alive and that is all that matters. Also talked to a neighbor about 5 miles away on plum creek he thinks they have lost the whole herd of 40 cows so things could have been worse keep smiling be happy look forward to the green grass the rain will produce

Yea my friends on Holz Rd at Neiderwald had their driveway washed out and the Plum Creek bridge on 86 was still closed at 6:00 this evening.

One friend of ours at Bulverde said she got 9 1/2" in three hours.

It's raining again here now but not like last night.Z

Got bout 4"-- real odd thunder, sounded like it was struggling thro the clouds, then BLAM right outside the window! scarry!!

We got another 2" last night and the Weatherbug is calling for rain all the way thru tomorrow night and then into the 80s on Thurs.Z
