Warts on the Cows Face?

Question....

I have a bull that has what looks like "warts" on the side of his face. They range in size from maybe quarter size all the way up to a maybe golfball size. They seem to be spreading on the side of his neck.

Anybody have any idea what this is?

Any suggestions on treatment?

If they look like warts they're probably warts

I had a neighbor who told me to pull them off with plyers and soak the area in diesel. Anybody have an opinion on that treatment?

If you pull a couple of them and make them bleed that will kick in the codys immune respnse and they'll go away. The soaking them with diesel would be just one more thing that would add cost and effort and not accomplish diddly
